Pronouns: She/Her

My Role:

I’m one of the volunteers at 2BU. I’ve had the privilege of working with the group since autumn 2018 and I always look forward to having a cup of tea and a chat with the amazing young people who come along. My day job is teaching an intensive one-year GCSE to groups of international students at Taunton School. I teach Geography and Media Studies, I am also a tutor and assist with the PSHE programme.
I live with my husband, two sons (when the eldest is home from uni) and a very demanding cat. In my spare time (haha) I like to go walking or cycling if the weather is good, otherwise you’ll find me tucked up at home reading, listening to music or watching a film.

I am most proud of:

My children.

My perfect holiday would be:

Somewhere warm, with interesting food, things to see, but also lots of time to lie on a beach or in a hammock reading. I think Thailand is my favourite place, but the south of France is also wonderful if you can avoid the crowds. Having said that, the Pembrokeshire coast on a sunny day, somewhere like Barafundle Bay, is also pretty close to perfect.

My ultimate three course meal would be:

I just like lots of small bits, rather than a big sit down meal, and I don’t really do pudding, so I’d say an international food buffet. (Is that cheating?!)
