My role: 

I’m new to 2BU having discovered it while looking to connect more with my local LGBTQIA+ community and give back to the local area. I volunteer twice a month at the group getting stuck in with whatever activities are going on, whether that’s crafting, playing group games or heading up into the trees on a high ropes course. Even though I have only been a part of 2BU for a few months it has fast become one of the things I treasure most. I look forward to chatting with the young people and helping to give them space to be truly themselves, and even just in the few sessions I’ve been part of there have been lovely moments that will stick with me forever.

I am most proud of: 

Growing up to become the man I always wanted to be, and the family and life that I have built for myself as a result.

My perfect holiday would be: 

I love a city break, ideally somewhere a bit overcast and not too hot. I don’t mind a bit of sunshine but I melt in the heat! I love to visit places like Amsterdam and Berlin as there are so many cool museums, art galleries and quirky little buildings to look at.

My ultimate three course meal would be: 

Dumplings for every course! I absolutely love dumplings and recently went to a restaurant that served nothing but dumplings. I had one of each and they were all incredible, even the cheeseburger one which I was a bit nervous to try. They also did dessert dumplings as well as savoury – The caramel and pecan one blew my mind, I don’t think I ever want to eat food again that isn’t inside of a dumpling!
